What is Lifestyle Medicine?
Lifestyle Medicine is an evidenced-based holistic approach to preventing, managing and often reversing lifestyle-related chronic diseases including: obesity, high blood pressure, heart disease and diabetes. By focusing on helping clients to make behavioural changes that will positively impact their health, such as diet, physical activity, sleep and stress management, Lifestyle Medicine helps individuals to transform their health, wellbeing and vitality.
How can Lifestyle Medicine help me?
By applying the principles of Lifestyle Medicine, I help women to identify daily habits that might be unknowingly sabotaging their lifestyle, and work in partnership to create new habits which promote a vibrant life.
I believe that without a great foundation of health we can’t live the life we desire. Health is not just the absence of disease but rather the base from which we launch our lives. These foundations need to be firm and built with a number of essential ingredients - eating whole real foods, moving everyday, managing stress, having kind and loving relationships and getting enough sleep.
We should all be able to live our lives from a happy, confident, energetic place with clarity, vitality and ease. Small changes undertaken on a daily basis add up to huge lifestyle benefits, and the payoff … an increased quality of life and longevity.
My goal, in working with you, is to help you to create a greater foundation of health and wellness. I want to empower you to eat and live in a way that makes you feel fantastic, that improves your overall health, and increases your vitality and your happiness, enabling you to fulfil your dreams.

What is an Accredited Practising Dietitian?
Accredited Practising Dietitians (APDs) are university-qualified professionals that undertake ongoing training and education programs to ensure that we are your most up-to-date and credible source of nutrition information. We practise in line with
Dietitians Australia (DA) Professional Standards, including the DA Code of Professional Conduct and Statement of Ethical Practice. APDs, like me, are the only credential recognised by the Australian Government, Medicare, the Department of Veterans Affairs and most private health funds offer rebates for my services.
What is a Health Coach?
I am also a Health Coach, which means that I work in partnership with you, my client. The client chooses which areas of their health they wish to work on and I offer evidenced-based treatment options, supportive materials, information and guidelines to help you achieve your goals and dreams.
Part of being a Health Coach means that I act as a supportive mentor and wellness consultant, helping you to make healthy lifestyle choices. Whether your goal is to lose weight, increase energy or manage a chronic disease, I work with you to help you make lasting changes so that you feel your best. I also work to help keep you accountable, while empowering you to take a proactive and holistic approach to your health.
